# brkpoint_

Every inefficient market has a breaking point. We build what comes after.

brkpoint_ is the venture arm of Disruption Dynamics: a Zürich-based venture studio that builds digital platforms for markets that run on friction. We start where something has become normal that shouldn't be: an exchange that depends on who you know, a price nobody can see, a door that only opens for the established. Then we build the platform that organises it differently, end to end: product, data, rules, legal, brand. Each platform is its own company in the making, with its own name, users and economics. DD helps client companies see what matters next and put the right changes into practice; building our own platforms and independently assessing providers for a client are distinct roles. Legally, brkpoint_ is a brand and project area of Disruption Dynamics, not a separate company; the operator is listed below.

## How we work
Friction is a design choice. So is fairness.
Look: We look at markets the way an outsider does. What people put up with, who benefits from the friction, what was never built.
Think: Before we build, we take the market apart. First principles, not best practices. What does this exchange really need to work?
Build: Then we build the platform, end to end: product, data, rules, legal, brand. Small enough to ship in months, complete enough to run for real.
Scale: What works, we scale. What doesn't, we change or stop, openly. A platform is never finished; it adapts to the reality it creates.

## How we think
Trust is built, not claimed. First principles, not best practices. Transparency across roles, borders and price tags creates trust. Effectiveness over wishful thinking: a platform has to work for the people on both sides, with real money and real reputations.

## Current portfolio
Four platforms, built end to end. Different markets, one idea: an exchange works better when fairness, transparency and access are part of the system, not a promise on top.
- SOUTHPAQ (brkpoint/southpaq, in build): Combat sports run on who you know. SOUTHPAQ turns that into a network: sparring partners, coaches and clubs in one place, training organised, and a reputation built from real sessions rather than talk.
- DEKKO (brkpoint/dekko, in build): Space design used to start with a gatekeeper. DEKKO starts with the space: discover ideas, find designers whose style and services fit, and turn a wish into a clear brief. For homes and business spaces, including on a small budget.
- BluePitch (brkpoint/bluepitch, in build): Architecture competitions favour the established. BluePitch opens the door: clients define their building project, discover emerging talent and commission paid design proposals under a Fair Pledge. No free trial designs. The work speaks.
- Fairli (brkpoint/fairli, in discovery): Paid help from people nearby, made simple and fair. Fairli connects people who need a hand with people who can give one, on a shared Fair Pledge. Easy to help. Fair to earn.

Status labels describe the current stage of a project, not a finished or generally available product. No paid orders, investments or product licences are concluded through this portfolio website.
