brkpoint_ is the venture arm of Disruption Dynamics: a Zürich-based venture studio that builds digital platforms for markets that run on friction.

We start where something has become normal that shouldn't be. An exchange that depends on who you know. A price nobody can see. A door that only opens for the established. Then we build the platform that organises it differently. End to end: product, data, rules, legal, brand.

Each platform is its own company in the making, with its own name, users and economics. We develop it as far as reality lets us and scale what proves itself.

The connection to Disruption Dynamics

DD works from the outside. It helps companies see what matters next and put the right changes into practice. brkpoint_ works from the inside of its own platforms. Same way of thinking, first principles and mechanics over surfaces, applied to two different jobs.

Behind both stands Patrick Thole, founder of Disruption Dynamics. The roles stay apart: building our own platforms is not the same as independently assessing providers for a client. Legally, brkpoint_ is a brand and project area of Disruption Dynamics, not a separate company.
